In Te Ngahere we have started doing STEAM, if you don’t know what
STEAM means well you came to the right blog, ( S stands for science,T
stands for technology, E stands for education, A stands for Arts and M
stands for medical. Our steam challenge was who could make the
tallest tower out of two pieces of news paper. We were allowed to
use two pieces of newspaper and 30 cm of tape. When we were
given a time of 20 minutes to build the news paper towers. We
could also jump in group of three or less. The people in my group
m where Ricardo, Dale and also me (Jahrell). Once our time was up
we measured whos newspaper tower was the highest. Another
group won but it was all good because we had fun. We were learning to
build a tower with a limited equipment and balancing it so it would stand.
What would you do to make the highest newspaper tower that stands?

Kia ora Jahrell it’s Harlem. I really enjoyed reading you post about STEAM Challenges. I really like how you explained what STEAM ment it wasn’t in your blog but I like how you enjoyed working with your group. Did you Struggle a few times getting it to stand up ?
