Extreme Glowing Mini Golf
Glowing paths, changing colours before my eyes. I picked up my glowing golf club and ball. The games had names and the first one was called Glow Worms. I hit it as soft as I could and guess what, I got a hole in one.
It was my Mum’s turn she hit the ball straight into the hole. Then we moved onto Alice in Wonderland the hole was super hard to get because the cards were hitting the ball back and making it roll away. We went to the next one and we got to choose what way we played. I chose to go the highway and Mum chose the short way, it was a hole in one for both of us.
I did not want to go into the next one because it had bugs and slime in it and it was called The Lab. I had to go in there and then I saw a head with no body. We played on into The scary Circus.
The circus was the best one, but I have a fear of clowns. There was a slippery sharp slicer level and you had to get the ball into the hole and it was so so had. I had to get a five and that was the number for how many you had to get it in. It was time to leave and it was the best day of my life at Whangarei. But first we had to put the numbers together.
I.A.L.T. to write a recount of an adventure in my weekend. I have learnt how to use commas, capital letters for names and language features. Can you find the simile and the alliteration?
